This is a great app. Its well written and makes doing crosswords on iPads and iPhones really pleasant. With lots of free crosswords of different levels itll keep you occupied for a long time!
Well done, with both British and US-style crosswords. Only critique is the lack of a difficulty rating on the crossword list, meaning you have to open it to know what kind of crossword it is. Would also be nice to filter out some of the crosswords from particular sources. Thank you for a great App!
I really like this app. Its awesome that theres 2 player mode
They had a minor server glitch for three days. Everything works fine. Even got the older crossword puzzles back.
Great crossword puzzle app
I have been enjoying this app for some time now. It provides me access to wide range of crosswords of differing levels of challenges. I have used it on a daily basis and it has kept me engaged on long flights and waits. No question that this is an excellent and must have app for crossword addicts like me.
I first got this app when I bought my first iPod touch. Its been with me ever since. Unlike just about every other app that comes and goes over time, this ones stays relevant and is just as good on an iPad as it was on my iPhone 3GS. Spend the money, you wont be sorry
Some bad moments
just upgraded, software now crashes on boot.

Don’t know about this new update… everything looks good, but, going for a one letter hint causes a crash (and all settings to reset), trying to backspace while entering a word causes a crash and settings reset. Where the + button is to add puzzles, there is red lettering that says "AD-H…” rendering that button unusable. This is on iOS 6.1.6, I would love to buy a new iPod to get iOS 7.1, but it’s not in the budget yet. Hoping for a quick fix, as this is my daily use all the time app (I’m a crossword nut), of all the iOS apps I use, this is number one out of 140 apps.
Unfortunately with the latest iOS update, it crashes regularly - about every 30 seconds.
Love this app! Not sure why but recently when I ?tried to go to landscape mode my keyboard gets all weird and I cant use it. Hope they fix this soon!
Completely unusable on iOS 8 on an iPad. Pity as I used to use this app daily.
I’ve been using this app for a few years and I have always loved it. After updating my iPad to 8.1.3 I can hardly use the app. I’ve had to shut down and restart my iPad a number of times to get it to unfreeze, the screen freezes when I try to choose a new puzzle, I can’t remove the keyboard at the bottom of the screen anymore (I use an external keyboard and prefer to see the whole screen). I’ve pretty much stopped using it which is annoying since I used it everyday and paid for the upgrade. If they fix this latest issue, I will give it 5 stars again.
